REQUIREMENT PRIOR TO TRAVEL: CHECK-IN and delivery of CRUCE ANDINO TICKET
The check-in must be done before 48 hours of the travel date, in the offices of each country, the requested data from Migrations of each
country will be corroborated and the Cruce Andino ticket will be provided
The check-in must be in person, with the travel documentation which the passenger will use to enter the country.
The check-in can be done by the local operator or group leader, with a photocopy of the travel document of each passenger.

If the passenger cannot attend 48 hours before the travel date, he/she must send his/her passport or travel document scanned, to the
following post office boxes, according to the origin of his/her trip:

● When the trip starts in Bariloche: checkinargentina@cruceandino.com
Passengers who do not check-in in person or send data online in the indicated boxes will not be able to make the trip due to immigration
regulations.
CONDITIONS OF THE TRIP
• Cruce Andino is available every day of the year, with the exception of May 1st (Labor Day) and during election days in Chile, which are mandatory and our personnel must travel to their voting centers on those dates.
• All rates are rack (commissionable) per person and expressed in US dollars.
• Groups from 15 passengers: only one tour leader is assigned, i.e. 15+1 or 30+1.
• Groups over 36 passengers: customized quotation is provided. Request a quotation.
• The Company has the right to modify the published rates and departure dates without a prior notice.
• The rate for resident passengers (Chilean or Argentinean) corresponds to a one-way ticket, and includes the return trip at no additional
cost traveling the same route. In the event of not being able to make the return trip, the amount paid will not be refunded.
• For foreign passengers, the round trip ticket covers the value of the return ticket at 50% of the initial cost.
• All schedules are referential, since it depends on the number of passengers and season of the year.
• The rate does not include port taxes in Puerto Pañuelo**, Argentina, or entrance fee to Saltos del Petrohué**, Chile.

- The visit to the Saltos del Petrohué in Chile > Argentina will depend on the time of year and weather conditions.
- The visit to Saltos del Petrohué in the direction Argentina > Chile is not available due to the closing times of the National Park.
CHILDREN POLICY
0 to 23 months at no charge, without the right to a seat.
2 to 11 years old pay 50% of the rate.
12 years and older pays 100%, is considered as an adult.
If traveling with underage children, they must bring the pertinent documentation to prove their leaving from each country.
TOUR OPERATOR CANCELLATION POLICY
For groups: up to 7 days prior to departure, 100% refund.
For individual passengers: up to 48 hours prior to departure, 100% refund.
LUGGAGE
Passengers' luggage will always be received or delivered together with the means of transportation.
A piece of up to 23kgs is allowed free of charge, measures: 158 linear cms. And hand luggage (purse or handbag).
Carry-on baggage (purse or handbag) is the responsibility of each passenger. Maximum dimensions for carry-on bag is: 45 cm x 35 cm x 20
cm (height x length x width).
Any luggage larger than this size must be transported under the conditions of extra luggage.
In case of having extra baggage (extra baggage is understood as any bag, additional suitcase or Carry-On), it must be declared at check-in
and pay a fee of US$25 per extra baggage or if it exceeds 23kgs (maximum limit of 32kgs per baggage).
The luggage will be tagged and Cruce Andino will be in charge of it during the entire journey.
Passengers do not have access to the luggage during the trip.
Luggage is handed over at the beginning of the trip and is returned at destination, so all travel documents must be carried as hand luggage.
Safety on catamarans and buses: It is important to keep corridors clear to ensure safe and unobstructed transit for both workers and
passengers. This involves preventing hand luggage or other objects from obstructing the way, thus reducing the risk of accidents or falls.
Damaged luggage: In the event that the passenger suffers any type of damage or loss of luggage, he/she must submit a statement on a
special form, this statement must be made upon arrival at any of the terminals. Otherwise, the company is not responsible for damaged
luggage after it has been delivered and the tag has been removed.
If the contents of the baggage are not declared, the company's liability is limited to the baggage.
Compensation for damage or loss of baggage during the trip: US$70.
FORCE MAJEURE
Cruce Andino may delay, cancel or modify the trip for reasons of force majeure, security, meteorological phenomena or other similar
events, exempting the company from liability for not fulfilling the booked service.
In such situations, if the service is in full operation, the passenger will have the option to change his trip to another date. In addition, the
company undertakes to make every effort to find an alternative route, if and when feasible.
The company assumes no responsibility for costs related to accommodation, meals, flights or other expenses arising directly or indirectly
from fortuitous circumstances or force majeure.

You can start from Puerto Varas in Chile or Bariloche in Argentina.
The Cruce Andino is an international route that connects Puerto Varas in Chile with Bariloche in Argentina, with a travel time of approximately 12 hours between the two countries.
The ticket covers all land and lake segments of the journey.
However, it does not cover accommodation in Puerto Varas or Bariloche, lunch (approximately US$25 per person), extra activities, or entrance fees to the National Park (approximately US$8 per person).
Due to the duration of the journey, completing a round trip of the Cruce Andino in 1 day is not feasible. Therefore, we advise considering at least 1 night's stay in the destination city. We recommend a minimum of 2 nights to fully enjoy the activities each city has to offer.
